The American Numismatic Society (“ANS”) is a non-profit organization founded in 1858. With over 800,000 objects and counting, the ANS’ collection spans over 4,000 years of numismatic objects from around the world. Currently headquartered in New York City, the ANS has retained Hamlin Ventures to help evaluate alternative sites on which to design and develop a new headquarters building with facilities for the collection, exhibition, offices, and education.
